Supports diverse upper division undergraduate students who plan to pursue advanced degrees and research careers in aging-related areas

Supports diverse upper division undergraduate students who plan to pursue advanced degrees and research careers in neuroscience

Initiative for Maximizing Student Development (IMSD)
The IMSD program aims to identify and train underrepresented graduate and undergraduate students to become part of the next generation of research leaders and innovators in biomedical and behavioral sciences. Students participate in a summer bridge program as well as academic and professional enrichment activities. Provides first year graduate students with 1 year of tuition, fees and stipend

Equity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Entrepreneurship (ESTEME) Program at UC Davis
The ESTEME program is a ​graduate student organization dedicated to improving equity and inclusion in STEM fields, entrepreneurship, and leadership positions

 

Campus Initiatives

UC Office of the President Historically Black Colleges and Universities Initiative
Connects faculty and undergraduate scholars at both UC and HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) campuses. Through faculty-guided summer programs students learn how to conduct research and develop professional skills and knowledge of graduate school in a variety of academic disciplines

First Generation Grad Initiative
Designed to address the needs of first-generation graduate students with a multi-pronged approach involving 1) peer mentorship, 2) professional development, and 3) a series of networking events

Center for the Advancement of Multicultural Perspectives on Science (CAMPOS)
Seeks to form a community of faculty scholars who bring gender and multicultural perspectives to STEM science. Built on an inclusive environment that is diversity-driven, mentorship-grounded, and career-success focused.  To date, over thirty exceptional ladder-rank faculty comprise the CAMPOS scholar community, including several Consortium affiliates
