UC Davis Student Disability Center
The Student Disability Center (SDC) is the campus unit designated to receive requests for accommodation, approve services, and coordinate support for students with disabilities to create equitable access to the University’s educational programs.
Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS)
UC Davis Student Health and Counseling Services or SHCS provides a wide variety of medical, mental health and wellness services to all registered UC Davis students regardless of insurance coverage. 530-752-2300
- Medical Visits. Schedule a telephone or virtual visit through the Health-e-Messaging portal to initiate care. Speak with an SHCS nurse during normal business hours or the afterhours nurse advice service by calling 530-752-2349.
- Mental Health Visits. Counseling Services are available by phone or via secure video conferencing. Schedule an appointment through the Health-e-Messaging portal or by calling 530-752-0871.
- Mental Health Crisis Consultation Services are offered via phone consultation or secure video conferencing. Call 530-752-0871 to access these services.
24/7 Advice Nurse 530-752-2349. Available at no cost to all students, regardless of insurance. The Advice Nurse can help you make informed decisions about your situation and direct you to the most appropriate departmental or campus resource.

Academic Assistance and Tutoring Centers (AATC)
AATC provides academic support to undergraduate students enrolled in Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Writing Across the Disciplines. Our professional instructional staff offer classes, workshops and office hours. To support our professional staff and the services offered, AATC hires nearly 300 undergraduate tutors to provide large drop-in service for students enrolled in over 40 math and science courses and over 300 courses in writing across the disciplines.

Reviews and monitors issues and concerns related to students, staff and faculty with disabilities. Makes recommendations to the Chancellor and administrative staff and submits annual report to the chancellor.

Human Resources – Recruitment Outreach Plan (ROP)
Offers people with disabilities individual counseling on exploring employment at UC Davis. Emphasis on special accommodation needs during the application and selection process. Provides assistance to applicants who self identify as having a disability.

California Council of the Blind (CCB)
As a statewide membership organization, CCB's mission is to increase the independence, security, equality of opportunity, and quality of life for all Californians who are blind and visually impaired. California Relay Service (CRS)
Relays calls between a person using a TDD/ and any other telephone user within the United States at no extra charge. Also allows a person without a TDD to call a TDD user. Users with MCI have no long distance charges on TDD/ calls. Also allows users to relay through the computer.
